FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I place an order?

For smaller orders or events, I prefer at least two weeks’ notice, and for bigger events or weddings I prefer at least a month’s notice. I will accept last minute orders if I have the time and ingredients for them, but my schedule tends to fill up quickly, so the sooner the better!

When can I expect to hear back from you to confirm my order?

I will respond to order requests within 2-3 business days. Once details are finalized & the deposit has been paid, the order will be confirmed and added to my schedule.

Do you have gluten free or vegan options?

Unfortunately, I do not currently offer these options on my menu, but I plan to have them in the future! Sorry for the inconvenience!

Can you ship orders?

I can ship cookies, but not cakes or cupcakes! If you would like to ship cookies, keep in mind that you will be required to cover the cost of shipping.

Do you deliver?

Yes! I can deliver any order for a delivery fee of $1 per mile to locations within the Blackfoot area and $2 per mile to locations outside of the Blackfoot area. I especially recommend this service for multiple tiered cakes and for weddings. If you would like me to deliver your order, please let me know on your order form so that I can plan for it. If you request a delivery last minute, I may not have the availability to do so

Do orders require a deposit?

Yes! To secure your spot on my schedule, all orders require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. Your order is not on my calendar until it is paid. The remaining balance is due on pickup/delivery day.

Are your cookies packaged in individual bags?

They can be! I do not package my cookies in bags unless I am worried about them getting damaged or they need to stay fresh for longer (like if they are being shipped, you are traveling with them, ect.). However, if you would like your order to be packaged in bags, let me know and I can do that for you! If you decide to do this, there will be a small fee added to your order to cover the price of the bags and the time it takes to package them.

Can you recreate a picture I found online?

Because it is impossible to completely recreate another baker’s work, I can do my best to replicate a certain design or theme, but I cannot guarantee that it will be exact. Including several inspiration photos in your order form helps me get an idea of what you like, and I can go from there.

How should I store my order and how long will it stay good?

Cookies can be kept in the box or in an airtight container at room temperature. Cakes and cupcakes should be kept in the refrigerator until 30min to an hour before it’s time to serve them.

Cakes and cupcakes stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Cookies stay fresh in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 weeks, although I would recommend eating them within a week or putting them in the freezer. For best taste and texture, I would recommend freezing cookies, cakes, and cupcakes for only up to 3 months.

Do you do samples or cake tasting?

If you would like to taste different flavors of cake before you order your wedding cake, you can purchase a cupcake tasting box! For $50, you receive 1 dozen cupcakes with up to 4 different flavor combinations to try.  Available for wedding cake orders only.

What types of payments to you accept?

I accept Venmo, Apple Cash, check or cash.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

Yes! I do require a minimum order of 1 dozen for cookie orders and 2 dozen for cupcake orders.

Where are you located?

I am located 10 miles west of Blackfoot, Idaho. I will share the address to my home bakery when the order is finalized.
